Currently looking for a resourceful Operations Manager to support in the start up of its assembly unit in / around Delhi. The factory will deliver STATCOM equipment to POWERGRID, other utility and industrial customers.

Job Title / Designation : Technical Manager

Job Description :

The Technical Manager role is an important role within RXPE Group to enable the successful transfer of technology and the manufacture of our equipment out of the Indian operations. You will head up the manufacturing and testing technology, actively support the factory manufacturing and the wider engineering and project teams both within the company offices as well as for the on-site activities.

Key Functions & Roles of the Candidate :

Your typical responsibilities as Technical Manager will include :

- Reporting into the Operations Manager and Technical Director

- Taking complete responsibility for the technology transfer from the China factory to the India operation

- Understanding manufacturing drawings, and transferring to the manufacturing team

- Take responsibility for the unpacking, storage, and testing of incoming power electronic modules

- Responsibility of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with client/3rd party inspectors and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)

- Managing spares and after sales service issues

- Inputting to project schedules, forecasts and resource requirements and regular project status reports

- Attending design review meetings, inspection of site works

- Supporting effective communications between engineering, technical, construction, and project controls groups, and the project management teams

In addition to the above specific Technical Manager responsibilities, you will also support the organization with :

- Safety case preparation and documentation

- Ensuring all staff and contractors follow safe practices of work

- Identifying and rectifying non-compliances and flagging up to management as required.

The role is to be based in the Noida with secondment and short-term travel to site and client offices for team and project meetings and site work.

You are also required to support the wider engineering team and business with other activities as necessary.

Specific Skill Set :

- Experience in Technology Transfer related to Power Electronics

- Experience of handling manufacturing / assembly & after sales support for power electronic equipment

- Familiar with Power Electronic Assembly / Manufacturing Process, HV Testing

- 3-6mths posting in China for Technology Transfer

Minimum/Maximum/ Work Experience Required : 10- 12 years expertise in High Voltage Power Electronic products & technology, MNC Technology Transfer

Annual CTC : Up to 20 Lacs, dependent upon experience

Minimum Education Requirements : Electrical or Electronics Engineer (Degree/ Masters)
