Role and Responsibilities:
- Collateral Policy & Processes: Develop and implement collateral policies and processes for mortgage products.
- Property Valuation: Scrutinize and assess property valuations and technical scrutiny reports for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Technical Due Diligence: Identify shortcomings and errors in valuation reports and technical due diligence.
- Market Value Assessment: Consider obsolescence or depreciation factors while determining property market value.
- Policy Development: Create and update technical policies and process notes, including a defined deviation matrix.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal collateral management policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Vendor Management: Manage valuation vendors and oversee the vendor empanelment process.
- Turnaround Time: Ensure compliance with benchmark turnaround times for property valuations.
- Site Visits: Conduct property visits for sample and exception cases to ensure detailed due diligence.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Over 3-5 years of experience in technical due diligence of property markets.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of mortgage properties and market dynamics.
Skills: Excellent analytical, managerial, and communication skills.
