Technical & Business Development Manager - Paint/Coating

Location : Kolkata, West Bengal

Experience : Min 7 to 12 Years

Salary : Up to 25 LPA

Must have :

- Min of 7 - 8 years of recent experience in the Paints/Coatings Manufacturing industry or candidates from Pigment industries who are into BD (candidates from the inks industry are not suitable)

- Must know the complete landscape of the Painting/Coating industries.

- Candidates who are with allied industry selling Pigments

- Must know the purchaser and R&D person in the industry.

- Ability to handle techno-commercial services, Capable of developing customers and products in consultation with cross-functional teams.

- Should have experience in technical service related to paints & coatings, including formulation knowledge.

- The candidate MUST have closely worked with R&D or quality function.

- Must be expertise with Carbon Black Products.

Educational Qualification: Must have a B.Tech/B.E or M.Tech degree (Chemical/Polymer/Plastic preferred).

- Open to travelling across India and outside India for client meetings and business development activities.

- Excellent communication skills

Functional skills: Technical Services & Business Development:

- To identify new business development opportunities in India and International Market to existing/new customers with existing & new products.

- Interaction with the customers to build the relationship and work closely to understand their requirements. Working closely with PT, R&D, Manufacturing, Planning, QA and Sales team.

- To keep updated with all relevant Indian/International compliance/regulations. To liaison with the concerned cross functional team to respond the queries. Timely response to customers.

- Work closely with PT, Manufacturing & Application Development team to study relevant product performance.

- Technical support to understand customer's stated & implied needs. To respond to all technical and regulatory queries of customers.
