Manager - Technical Architect - IT

The client is a one of the leading multinational company into business of IT, financial services, software etc. Looking for Technical Architect for at least 2 years with overall experience of 15 to 20 years in IT. Have an excellent communicator, able to respond and adapt to technical and non-technical audiences, making complexity understandable.

Position: Manager - Technical Architect (1 position)

The Role

This is an opportunity for an experienced architect with a background in software engineering to help a us scale our technology delivery to achieve our strategic goals; the successful applicant will play an instrumental role in the evolution of our technology driven solutions, services and product and will be part of a significant phase of team growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Working with the Director of Technology to deeply understand the strategy and vision for the company, contributing to the technology roadmap

2. Work with the Director of Technology to plan and designing technology solutions

3. Experience designing or implementing public facing REST APIs

4. Experience of the following is highly desirable: Open Source Stacks / Frameworks PHP/Laravel, MEAN/MEVN/MERN (any), Python, Cloud Infrastructure, SQL

5. Devops knowledge e.g., CI/CD

6. Deep knowledge of relational and non-relational data stores

7. Ability to think strategically and evaluate options in the short, medium, and long term

8. Problem solver, able to unpack complex issues and systematically break down into addressable milestones

9. Excellent communicator, able to respond and adapt to technical and non-technical audiences, making complexity understandable

Professional Requirements:

1. A background in software engineering, software design or database design and architecture

2. Demonstrable experience developing software in a SOA and/or Microservices paradigm

3. Prior expertise on working with an ATS

4. Great prioritization skills and ability to juggle with multiple roles without impacting the priority and criticality of any of the mandates

5. Expertise in managing relationships through being solution oriented and high attention to detail

6. Excellent written and spoken communication Competencies required : Self-motivated, persistent, influence, negotiation, goal-oriented and organized.
