Taxation Manager

Responsibilities:

Managing both direct and indirect taxes

Indirect Taxation:

- Monthly calculation of GST, filing of monthly/quarterly/annual GST returns.

- Preparation of details for TDS deductees

- Periodic reconciliation of Input Tax Credit.

- Reviewing working for GST returns prepared by external consultants. Comparing Input Tax Credit taken with GSTR 2A and calculating deficit or excess ITC take

- Reviewing and online submissions to be filed before the Assessing Officer and attending hearings for assessment proceedings, stay of demand, penalty proceedings, rectification

- Responsible to manage with an outsourced consultant, various operations/activities related to the Taxation function for the company

- GST Audit

Direct Taxation:

- Preparing and electronically uploading income tax return

- Filing of quarterly e-TDS returns, generating Form 16A and removing TDS defaults of returns filed

- Reviewing Grounds of Appeal and Statement of Facts in relation to appeal to be filed before the Commissioner of Income-tax (Appeals) / Income-tax Appellate Tribunal and attending the hearings with consultants

- Filing of Form 61B (FATCA; CRS)

- Manage taxation queries internally among the entities.

- Work with Internal teams on Tax Audit

- Work with external agencies on Tax related queries - Notice, Clarifications, Due Dilligence etc.

Candidate Requirements:

- CA with 5-8 years of experience

- Relevant experience of 6 to 8 years in both Direct and Indirect Taxes

- Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
