Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on corporate, partnership, individual and trust and estate tax services.
- Help determine tax service objectives, scope and methodology and actively participate in communications with client management to understand the client's business and to identify possible tax solutions.
- Oversee the calculation and analysis of tax strategies for clients and assist with delivering to the client.
- Manage and review the preparation of corporate, partnership, or individuals, including federal, foreign, state and local tax return, estimated payments and extensions.
- Monitor, document and apply the tax laws for US tax return preparation.
- Continue to develop relationships with clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities.
- Provide both leadership (mentoring and coaching) and supervision to Tax Seniors and Staff.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute towards implementing them.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's /Master's degree with a major in accounting and CPA (US).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in US Taxation.
- Previous experience in a public accounting firm preferred.
- Proficient in corporate, partnership and individual taxation.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervising and training experience.
- Prior experience working with large, multi-state, internationally active middle-market clients preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
- Strong organizational skills required for managing multiple client engagements.
- Ability to work overtime, as needed.
- Ability to travel as needed.
