Talent Acquisition Manager
Recruitment Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with plant leadership and HR teams to understand workforce requirements and develop comprehensive recruitment strategies.
- Create and implement workforce planning initiatives to ensure the plant has the necessary talent to meet current and future needs.
- Conduct job analysis and define job descriptions and specifications for various plant roles.
Sourcing and Candidate Engagement:
- Utilize a variety of sourcing channels, including job boards, social media platforms, industry events, and professional networks, to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Proactively build relationships with potential candidates, engage in networking activities, and participate in relevant industry events to enhance the talent pipeline.
- Review and screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit with the plant's culture and requirements.
Selection and Hiring:
- Coordinate and facilitate interview processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience and timely feedback to all applicants.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate candidates, make hiring recommendations, and negotiate job offers.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings to verify candidates' credentials and suitability for employment.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations during the selection and hiring process.
Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing:
- Develop and execute effective employer branding strategies to promote the plant as an employer of choice.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create compelling job advertisements, recruitment materials, and online presence.
- Leverage social media platforms and other relevant channels to showcase the plant's culture, values, and career opportunities.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems and other HR software to maintain accurate candidate records and streamline recruitment processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret recruitment data to drive informed decision-making.
