Manager - Talent Acquisition
Role & Responsibilities:
- Keep a running dialogue with stakeholders - Function Heads, Hiring Managers and HRBPs to keep abreast of the Business Objectives & how Talent Acquisition can contribute to their success.
- Ask the right questions to help hiring managers discover the right talent set needed for their team.
- Own the hiring process end to end, from the first call to the day the candidate joins.
- Create various talent sources from Campus, Job Fairs, Referrals & Active Applicants. A superstar candidate builds his/her own network of superstar achievers & leverages it when the opportunity arises.
- Embrace the latest technology to work better & smarter. Be it a new sourcing platform or a new tool introduced by Industry Leaders or a supercharged ATS, explore and utilize them for maximum effectiveness.
- Build & utilize data for evaluating current effectiveness and bring insights for improvement.
- Acts as brand ambassador for the organization and encourages others to do the same.
- Think & plan ahead (at least for a quarter) for effectively delivering the talent needs.
- Lead & grow a team of TA professionals working for shared objectives.
Ideal Candidate:- Expertise built over 8-10 years of experience with mature startups for Campus Recruiting, Lateral Hiring (niche & volume) and progressing to hiring for senior roles.
- The interviewing & sourcing skills to pick the best fit candidates based on the JD and the team/role dynamics.
- A good campus network to bring fresh smart talent to the organization.
- Strong negotiation skills to bring offers & vendor negotiations to a fruitful conclusion.
- Empathy towards stakeholders to understand the pain points and a problem-solving approach to resolve those pain points.
- Technical chops to manage & utilize tools like ATS, job boards & other tools for better productivity.
- Hustler and a go-getter attitude to ensure that the organization's requirements are met with quality & timelines.
