Manager - System Architect - Design & Development

Role : Manager - IT ( Application Development)

Location : Bangalore

Job Responsibilities :

Projects Management :

Leads assigned IT projects to manage all aspects starting from RFQ, SOW, Vendor Evaluation Technical, Requirement Blueprinting, Solution Architect, Design, Getting Built, Test, Deployment, Change Management, Architecture approvals, creating infra requirements, PMO updates, Weekly/ Monthly project review calls with internal employees & vendor partner, handing over to build to operate, getting/ doing documentation at various stage of the project as per SDLC.

Demands Management :

Getting the requirements from business user's for RFCs of existing apps and getting the delivery from vendor partners as per SDLC.

Impact Analysis for RFCs :

- Reviews Technical feasibility

- Determine impact of the new requirement on overall IT & Business environment. Creates Impact Analysis Document

- Maintain Risk Register, Risk Mitigation Plans and Align Stake holders

System Architecture Design :

- Define & Design software system architecture

- Understand the totality of the IT environment: servers, DB, network, infrastructure and the portfolio of applications as a whole and Ensure fit into Enterprise architecture

- Alignment to long term Technology Road Map

- Ensure software meets the appropriate security accreditation

- Ensure best architecture practices

- Does - Buy, Make and Co-Create- technology assessments to maintain strategic leadership, with customers and technology partners.

Technical Design :

- Create Technical Design documents

- Assist in technical part for RFP/RFI

- Hand Over to Systems Analyst for solution design and analysis

Server/ Apps Configuration :

- Identify Server or App configuration requirements

- Create Server / App configuration checklist

Job Requirement :

Minimum Education : B.Tech / MCA or Equivalent Degree / Graduate with 3 years Computer Diploma

Minimum Work Experience : 8 to 14+ years- experience in IT at various roles (Project Lead, System Analysis, Software Developer, Systems Engineering, Testing, and Documentation as per SDLC)

Critical Experiences/Exposure Required : Business Knowledge: Knowledge of various business processes for CPG Industry mainly Sales & Distribution, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales & Promotions, SFA, Merchandising, Retail Analytics, Finance, HR, Asset Management etc.

- Must undergone SAP implementation process.

- Effective Written and Verbal communication and engagement with team members, project sponsors, stakeholders and vendor partners

- Able to create work breakdown structure, delegate detailed tasks with estimates and ensures Quality deliverables

- Excellent Knowledge on Software Development Lifecycles and should be able to manage Complex Multifunctional projects in diversified Technologies & environments

- Ability to solve complex problems, think strategically, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

- Ability to gather business requirements, perform analysis, translate into technical design as per best possible technical fit and establish/recommend integration architecture for the existing/new solutions

- Ability to understand Enterprise Architecture for system dependencies and translate them into product/features for technical roadmaps

- Actively maintain awareness about new and emerging technologies

IT Knowledge :

- Good Mix of Full Project lifecycle Experience

- In-depth skills in at least one technology (Microsoft /java /Salesforce / SAP/ SQL/ Oracle/ Cloud) and one industry (FMCG/ CPG/ Retail)

- In-Depth understanding of Development Methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, Architectural Patterns. RDBMS and DB Designs Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, Office

- Basic Networking concepts
