Job Title: Supply Chain Manager (Commercial Officer).

Industry: Solar Energy.

Location: Worli, Mumbai.

Experience: 5-7 years.

Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company's solar energy projects.

- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for electrical and mechanical components required for solar installations.

- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure optimal pricing, terms, and quality standards.

- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, project management) to forecast supply needs and ensure timely availability of materials.

- Oversee logistics operations, ensuring cost-effective transportation and timely delivery of goods.

- Monitor inventory levels, manage warehouse operations, and ensure compliance with safety and storage standards.

- Maintain strong vendor relationships, evaluating their performance based on quality, delivery times, and pricing.

- Implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce lead times, and control costs.

- Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets, track expenses, and report on cost savings.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing supply chain activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

- 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the renewable energy or solar industry.

- Proven experience in procurement, logistics, vendor management, and inventory control.

- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

- Excellent understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in solar or renewable energy sectors.

- Knowledge of project management principles.
