Manager - Supply Chain - Manufacturing Firm

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the company& business goals and objectives.

- Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply of components and materials while maintaining quality standards.

- Oversee inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and implement strategies to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.

- Manage the logistics team to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods to customers and other facilities.

- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to forecast demand accurately and ensure adequate inventory levels to meet customer needs.

- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure refurbished devices meet or exceed industry standards.

- Continuously analyze supply chain costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure reliability and quality.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to supply chain operations.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions in the supply chain, geopolitical factors, and economic uncertainties.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor& degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- At least 10 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing industry.

- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and procurement strategies.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.

- Leadership and team management skills.

- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.

- Knowledge of Dubai& import/export regulations is a plus.
