Manager - Supply Chain Management

Position Overview:

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain processes, managing supplier relationships, ensuring product availability, and maintaining inventory levels.

Your role will involve strategic planning, coordination, and implementation of supply chain initiatives to maximize efficiency and minimize costs while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute supply chain strategies to meet business objectives and operational needs.

- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the supply chain including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.

- Identify and onboard new suppliers/vendors while fostering strong relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions.

- Analyze supply chain data, assess performance metrics, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, and operations to forecast demand and plan inventory levels accordingly.

- Oversee inventory control procedures, monitor stock levels, and manage inventory accuracy.

- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Master's degree preferred.

- 5-10 years of proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics roles in the FMCG category preferably

- In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, procurement strategies, and logistics operations.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in supply chain software, Microsoft office and ERP systems.

- Certification in supply chain management (e. g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.

- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capability to manage and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
