Job Description:

New Supplier Audit and approval :

- Plan and execute new supplier assessment and selection process

- Approval of all new suppliers

- Training and sharing the knowledge related to audits with suppliers to achieve the given scores

- Discussing with company to ensure that the supplier is taken onboard.

New Product Development :

- Conducting Technical risk assessment/ manufacturing feasibility before development forging parts.

- Zero defect strategy to improving on supplier functioning and ensuring all doubts are cleared timely to ensure efficiency

- Reviewing the plans and monitoring the tooling development at supplier end for new product development and resolving the issues at the suppliers' end

- Ensuring the prototypes are made timely and are sent for approval to align customer requirements

- Ensuring development of product first time through by implementing Poke yoke for significant paraments and achieving Capability as per Dana Standard

- Monitoring PPAP batch & revalidating the documents of PPAP with process & taking approval from internal customers

- Performing activities pertaining to part handover to the plant after PPAP completion (R@R /FTR/ETR) & follow-up with Safe launch Process.

- Ensuring APQP to be completed as per requirement of Dana

- Raising the ECR/EDR in system
