Supplier Quality Manager
fJob Summary:
To ensure Supplier Quality Management with focus on Supplier Development & Qualification, Quality Improvement, Efficiency & Risk Management.
Responsibilities:
- To represent Operations (Supplier Quality aspect) in the Projects team
- To conduct Suppler Audits of Potential & Existing suppliers
- To ensure Supplier qualification, Product qualification as per requirement
- To monitor the performance of suppliers on aspects of quality, delivery & reliability
- To identify potential issues & improve quality & efficiency (Inhouse & Supplier)
- To communicate with various stake holders within organization
- To communicate effectively with suppliers on the needs of the organization
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Health & Environment
Requirements:
- 8 to 12 years' experience in Supplier Quality Management department of Mid-size Manufacturing organization
- Must have worked with Metallic components, Plastics, Electronic & Electrical components, Packaging materials etc.
- Preferably worked in European MNC companies
- Should be able to read & comprehend component drawings
- Should have excellent communication skills
- Should be comfortable working in the matrix structure within organization.
- Should have good knowledge of ISO system
- Should be very systematic & punctual in work
- Should have eye for details
