Job Title : Supplier Quality Manager

Desired Profile:

Education Qualification:

- Engineering Degree (must have)

- M.B.A. Operations/ Materials Management (preferred)

Work Experience:

- Years of Experience: 12+

- Area of Experience: Supplier Audits / Quality Monitoring / Supplier Qualification / QMS, preferably in Automotive/ Heavy Engg or Healthcare sector

Job Description:

- Develop and deploy Supplier Quality Strategies that are aligned with Procurement and Business Strategies.

- Provide leadership for Supplier Quality function and ensure goal of “one face” towards supply base

- Support product development improvements through early supplier involvement into PCP process, drive collaboration with Development and Suppliers to ensure manufacturability and testability of designs

- Develop and deploy processes and tools to ensure, monitor and manage supplier quality such as supplier performance measurement, supplier assessment, supplier audits and Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR), PPA etc.

- Plan and execute supplier audits, assessments and supplier performance monitoring

- Drive Supplier Performance improvement programs

- Define supplier quality requirements that are aligned with relevant commodity strategies and the Stakeholders

- Managing supplier quality performance through web based supplier database system (GSRS)

- Validate / improve the GSRS quality data and assist Commodity Manager in developing and reporting quality scores.

- Manage DMC Procurement sustainability program with emphasis on supplier sustainability monitoring and conformance

- Responsible for defining supplier requirements in line with relevant quality and sustainability regulations and programs
