ROLE DEFINITION / SCOPE

Key Deliverables:

1. Supplier audits

2. APQP

3. PPAP

4. PPM & 8D Review

5. Supplier Rating & Cost Recovery

ROLE DESCRIPTORS / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Supplier Footprint Up gradation by robust process & controls Mechanism

2. Knowledge of Heavy Fabrication process / Electrical / Casting & machining

3. Part Development with Right first time approach using APQP/Tech review Approach

4. PPM reduction by working with worst performing supplier

5. Resolution of critical quality issue using 7 QC tools

ACCOUNTABILITY - PERFORMANCE MAPPING

ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Ensuring World Class Supplier Development

2. Part development at 100% RFT.

3. Maintain PPM within specified Targets

4. 8D closure within specified time.

5. Supplier upgradation to approved category.

6. Supplier Audits and Closure of NC- s

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Nice to have: 9 ~ 12 years

Minimum 9 years of experience in process audits, supplier quality audits, APQP

Need to have:

- Preferably from Construction Equipment / Heavy Earth moving / Automobile / Tractor Industry

- Understanding of the automobile/ Construction equipment manufacturing setup

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Nice to have

- Executive MBA / part time PGDBA from premier institutes

Need to have

- BE / B Tech (Regular - Reputed Institutes/University)
