Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategic initiatives to drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance our competitive positioning across the construction and cement sectors.
1. Strategic Planning: Lead the development of long-term strategic plans that align with the company's overall vision and objectives. Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities within the construction and cement industries.
2. Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to assess market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for business expansion and differentiation.
3. Business Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and M&A activities. Develop business cases and financial models to support investment decisions and drive sustainable growth.
4. Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of strategic initiatives. Monitor industry benchmarks and performance trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
5. Risk Management: Assess strategic risks and uncertainties that may impact business performance. Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's interests and ensure long-term viability.
6. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, board of directors, investors, and industry partners. Present strategic recommendations and updates to key stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for strategic initiatives.
7. Leadership and Team Development: Provide leadership and guidance to the strategy team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Mentor team members and support their professional development and growth.
Profile:
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a strategy role in a top notch Consulting firm OR inhouse consulting
Education: MBA from top tier institute only
