Job Title: Manager Strategy & Operations

Mandatory - Candidate should be from among these sectors - Automotive, Consumer, Telecom or Life Sciences/Pharma sectors with horizontal experience in ER&D.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Managers will play the role of being team leaders in various GBS Advisory on client-facing projects and take full responsibility of the planning, resourcing, and delivery; guide the team in every phase of the project and ensure the delivery meets client expectation
- Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge in specific solution areas
- Meet stringent quality of engagement delivery through thorough and meticulous planning and execution of the tasks assigned
- Monitor progress of work against the engagement plan
- Prepare the required deliverables in the format agreed with the Engagement Partner/Director
- Effectively engage with client counterpart in discussions related to the project delivery and provide new perspectives/insights
- Lead on ground implementation and value realization initiatives for the identified opportunities
- Assist clients in designing and implementing the right sourcing model, including but not limited to shared services, outsourcing and global business services models
- Assist clients throughout the entire spectrum of Shared Services transformation journey- including feasibility study, business case analysis, target operating model design, FTE sizing, location selection, SSC design and build out support, service management support, transition management, process review and continuous improvement
- Assist clients in taking the most effective outsourcing decision through RFP development, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, portfolio rationalization, benchmarking and end-of-term support
- Assist in and contribute to various firm-level initiatives, including business development, development of tools and methodologies, thought leadership materials and points of view
- Monitor performance of team members and provide constant guidance, constructive feedback and opportunities to explore new areas
- Manage project financials - revenue, billing, project financial health, etc.
- Lead Teams and ensure that team members are motivated to perform consistently at high levels of quality and delivery
- Remain current on developments in the economy and the relevant sector
- Possess a good understanding of business processes in the Shared Services environment
- Conduct research, read thought leadership and knowledge repositories on a regular basis to deliver as per engagement requirements
- Work in a dynamic business environment and willing to adapt
- Participate & lead various firm/practice initiatives/programs
- Plan out work for oneself and reporting team members where relevant
- Maintain documentation as per required Company's quality standards
- Ability to hold business development conversations with clients
- Conceptualize and Develop concept notes, proposals and response to RFPs
- Actively participate in developing thought leadership material around the services being delivered by the GBS Advisory practice
Qualifications and Skills:
- Expertise level of knowledge in at least one of the functions - Procurement, HR, Finance, Customer Management, Engineering Services, IT, Operations etc.

- Collaborative work-style and ability to work in a team
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to handle at least 6 - 8 team members
- Ability to multi-task and work within demanding timelines
Experience and Background:
- MBA from Tier 1 Premier/ Tier 1 institutes with 5-8 years of consulting experience or experience on internal consulting/strategy roles within the GBS organizations.
- Willingness to travel within India or abroad for continuously long periods of time
- Have the ability to work under pressure - stringent timelines and tough client conditions
