Manager - Strategy
- Understand and assist in shaping the company's strategy and mission
- Develop plans to materialize strategy and analyze business proposals
- Research competition to identify threats and opportunities
- Assess the company's operational and strategic performance
- Align processes, resources-planning and department goals with overall strategy
- Provide support and insight into significant organizational changes (e.g. shift in strategic focus, mergers and acquisitions)
- Construct forecasts and analytical models including long term plans
- Monitor and analyze industry trends and market changes
- Project manage and assist Business/Category leaders in reviewing performance against Strategic Initiatives
- Assist in defining KPIs and measuring and reviewing performance against the defined KPIs.
ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:
Education background:
- MBA from Tier 1/ Tier 2 Institute or a Chartered Accountant
- Years of experience 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing / FMCG/ Retail companies
Specific skill set:
- Understanding of market research and data analysis
- Knowledge of business operations and procedures
- Analytical mind with problem solving attitude
- Demonstrate Strategic thinking abilities
- MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
