Strategic Marketing Manager

Strategic Marketing Manager
- Responsible for developing and supporting the strategic plan.
- Drive the Strategic Planning process which includes identifying high-opportunity profitable markets, adjacencies, and/or segments, go to market strategies etc through market research and business analysis
- To grow the business according to agreed revenue and profit targets.
- Responsibilities include planning and executing marketing strategy, prioritize a strategic growth plan for the business.
- Oversee development of customer insights and business/market intelligence development, syndicated data, sales analysis and corresponding presentations so as to identify and capitalize on the most advantageous business opportunities
- Lead competition intelligence and business analysis to drive the Strategic Planning (STRAP) process which includes identifying high-opportunity profitable markets, adjacencies, and/or segments, go to market strategies etc
- Work with leaders to develop strategic plans that enable businesses to grow faster than their markets Implement marketing strategies aligned with the strategic plan.
- Align functional plans with the strategic plan. Lead integrated cross-functional teams to execute plan to drive outstanding financial results.
- Identify branding opportunities to further expand product/service line, penetration, as well as positioning advantages.
- Work with business leaders to develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans focusing on growing sales and increasing profitability
- Lead Special Projects as an input for development of Breakthrough Strategies Support on specific programs/initiatives to support strategic planning
- Lead high level marketing initiatives /processes such as Win-Loss Analysis, Lead Generation etc.
- Use management operating system to drive results Work with business leaders to develop and maintain a strategic plan for business growth including - Portfolio analysis and assessment to identify revenue and growth plans by market and product segment.
- Fact-based analysis of market trends competitive data technology advancements and customer needs assessment and new product developments.
- Creation of a prioritized strategic technology development plan for the business
- Support Marketing Director as needed through custom data queries and reports.
Qualification, Experience & Skill Sets:
1. B.E or MBA with Work experience of 4-6 years (Management Consulting/Business Marketing/ Research)
2. Strategic mindset with strong analytical and logical reasoning capabilities
3. Strong communication and presentation skills
4. Ability to work with cross-functional teams spread across various countries/regions
5. Well versed with MS Office and statistical data packages (preferred)
6. Familiarity with CRM programs
7. Customer facing experience in Technology/Solutions businesses (B2B) space is highly preferred
8. Specific marketing experience in segmentation, value pricing, new offering development is valuable
9. Results driven track record proven ability to translate strategies into action and results
