Role Description :

As the Manager - Strategic Initiatives, you will be a key driver of our company's future success. You will be responsible for identifying potential new business models, channels, and ventures, conducting thorough business viability assessments, and leading the execution of these initiatives from concept to implementation. Your ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, including government bodies, and your strong negotiation skills will be essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Analysis:

- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and internal capabilities to identify strategic opportunities for business expansion and diversification.

- Develop and present strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights (Strategic Numbers, MIS).

- Contribute to the development of the overall portfolio strategy.

New Business Conceptualization and Modeling:

- Conceptualize and develop new business initiatives, models, and channels to diversify the existing business.

- Conduct thorough business modeling and work on the business viability of new concepts, including financial projections and risk assessments.

Project Execution and Implementation:

- Lead the end-to-end execution of new strategic projects.

- Liaise effectively with Government bodies for approvals, permits, and related matters.

- Manage tendering processes, including bid preparation and evaluation.

- Lead negotiations with external partners and stakeholders.

- Oversee the implementation of new projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

Presentation and Communication:

- Develop compelling presentations (PPT) to communicate strategic initiatives and progress to internal and external stakeholders.

- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.


Stakeholder Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and Government agencies.

- Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns.

Industry Expertise (Preferred):

- Leverage prior experience working in mall strategy teams or real estate advisory teams (preferred).

- Apply understanding of relevant industry dynamics and best practices.

Requirements:

Experience:

- 7-10 years of progressive experience in a similar role focused on strategic initiatives, business development, or corporate strategy.

- Proven experience in business modeling, financial analysis, and project execution.

- Experience in liaising with Government bodies, managing tendering processes, and leading negotiations is highly desirable.

Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach (Strategic Numbers, MIS).

- Excellent skills in developing and delivering presentations (PPT).

- Proven ability to conceptualize and implement new business initiatives.

- Strong understanding of business expansion and portfolio strategy.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
