CTC: 15 to 25 lacs

Team: Team handling Role.(Associates / Sr.Associates / Senior)

Reports to: Sr.Manager / Associate Director

Preferable Candidate: From Big 4

Brief:

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities :

- Expert in Statutory Audit

- Minimum of six years of experience in Statutory Audit-related areas in other mid or top tier account firms - post qualification technically proficient in assurance/audit related concepts, GAAS and GAAP related requirements. The individuals should preferably have worked in a similar profile in other mid or top tier accounting firms.

- Responsible for a portfolio of engagements, by leading a team of Assistant Managers, Seniors, and Associates

- Ensure the team delivers timely and high-quality work, as per standards and in line with the Global team expectations.

- Demonstrate strong understanding of Global Audit Methodology in service delivery and supporting various quality projects like pre-issuance reviews, audit quality reviews, efficiency projects or others, if any.

- Develop and maintain productive relationships with key Global counterparts like Assurance executives based out of Americas, Europe or Gulf.

- Develop an understanding of Org Quality and Risk Management procedures, and ensure these are embedded into the engagement team's work.

- Work closely with the Global team to transition new engagements and services to Assurance whilst maintaining highest levels of quality of service.

- Proactively discuss workflow management with the audit teams, allocating resources to the assigned work and monitoring performance against standards. Monitor utilization for one's team, budget to actuals, and other operational matters.

- Demonstrate professionalism, competence, and clarity of communication when dealing with Global audit teams.

- Establish expectations of value to be delivered to the respective Global teams aligned.

- Standardize audit processes along with leveraging best practices across one's aligned engagements or beyond.

- Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.

- Delegate work successfully.

- Develop and maintain high performing teams

- Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training. Lead by example.

- Use technology & tools to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. Contribute to technical and soft-skills training to continually develop the team's skills.

- Actively participate in organizational initiatives like recruitment, diversity & inclusiveness, pieces of training, others.

Competencies/Skills :

- Expert knowledge of Indian accounting and auditing standards or knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP/US GAAP and International auditing standards is an added advantage

- Excellent communication skills

- Effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation and presentation skills

- Project management, leadership, coaching, counseling and supervisory skills

- Ability to spread positive work culture, teaming and live Org values

- The ability to quickly form the strong working relationship with colleagues in India and global teams.
