Manager - Statutory Audit - CA - Big4

Primary Responsibilities :

- Be responsible for a portfolio of engagements, by leading a team of Assistant Managers, Seniors and Associates.

- Ensure the team delivers timely and high quality work, as per EY GAM and in line with the Global team expectations.

- Work closely with Global team to transition new engagements and services for maintaining highest levels of quality of service.

- Proactively discuss work flow management with the audit teams, allocating resources to the assigned work and monitoring performance against standards. Monitor utilization for one's team, budget to actuals, and other operational matters.

- Identify opportunities to improve the scope of work.

- Standardize audit processes along with leveraging best practices across one's aligned engagements or beyond.

- Develop and maintain high performing teams.

- Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training. Lead by example

Job Specification :

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of post qualification experience into statutory audit with either BIG 4 or tier 2 accounting firms

- Expert knowledge of Indian accounting and auditing standards or knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP/US GAAP and International auditing standards is an added advantage

- Excellent communication skills

- Effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation and presentation skills

- Project management, leadership, coaching, counselling and supervisory skills
