Job Description:
- This role leads all upstream marketing activities supporting a specific BU (IC) of company for the AMEA markets.
- The role will involve working closely with the multiple cross functional stakeholders i.e. Global & Regional marketing, Global & AMEA R&D and external stake holders including KOL's, to drive innovation programs for emerging markets.
- This entails providing local in region leadership, driving standard ways of working, harmonizing methods & tools and driving synergy in needs & wants expressed in the BU's.
- Being the voice of customer, voice of business, & voice of value advocate - driving the domain knowledge & competency and customer insight in the organization; being the 'voice of AMEA' in the global portfolio processes.
- The candidate will be responsible for developing and leading the upstream marketing function in the region and will also liaison / support regional and global marketing teams to transition products from R&D towards launch.
- Apart from individual product strategies, the individual will also be responsible for working closely with R&D on planning and executing the Bio design based needs assessment studies and creating a portfolio of needs, product or solutions offerings backed with customer and organization value propositions i.e. business case and thereby create a pipe line of Emerging marketing products / solutions for a given BU.
