Job Description
Job Profile:
- The Transaction Services Strategy practice at Company of corporate and private equity clients on strategic issues in connection with their acquisition, divestiture and investment decisions.
- The group works with management teams and financial investors on both business improvement/ expansion and corporate-turnaround programmes.
Our services include:
- Deal related business strategies - Advising clients on issues ranging from competitive benchmarking and strategic positioning to market-entry strategies
- Mergers and Acquisition Strategy and Process - Assisting clients on M&A issues ranging from inorganic growth strategy to strategic acquisition screening
- Commercial Due Diligence - In connection with specific acquisition targets, this involves advising clients on market and competitive conditions relative to the projected business plans supporting a deal
The tasks, roles and responsibilities concerned with the job will include the following:
- End to end execution of client deliverables ensuring quality and timeliness
- Day to day Strategy and Planning
- Client relationship management
- People management
- Business development The team will help clients to:
- Identify key sector dynamics
- Evaluate emerging product-market opportunities (understanding and entering new markets or geographies)
- Formulate and implement corporate/divisional/business-unit strategies
- Identify and evaluate appropriate M&A/alliance opportunities and targets
- Turn-around failing companies or divisions
- Reposition the company after a period of change
- Commercial due diligence (CDD) covering review of Business Plan in the context of analysis of anticipated market conditions and industry/competitor dynamics
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Due Diligence - project planning, resource requirement analysis, scheduling, meeting clients
- Leading the team during project execution, reviewing the report and providing valuable inputs
- Writing due diligence reports/ preparing management presentations independently
- Attending client meetings, discussing observations and effectively closing the loop with target companies/ clients
- Facing external clients (both domestic and international) in a challenging working environment
- Supporting seniors in business development and marketing
- Assisting the firm in internal initiatives
- Coaching junior team members, encouraging technical excellence and learning
- Managing project economics and profitability
