Position Title: Manager or Senior Manager

Reporting To : CIO - Asia South, Matrix: Director - Global Online Solution

Department: GIS, Asia

Location: Corporate Office, Gurgaon

Position Summary:

- The eCommerce Technical Solution Architect will provide leadership and technical expertise on the global eCommerce Platform and associated integrated technologies.

- You will work with some of the world's leading brands, top digital media experts and best eCommerce technology implementation teams. A solid understanding of and experience in WebSphere Commerce version 7+, and a passion for driving company success through adoption of technology are required.

Job Duties / Essential Functions:

- Lead the overall technical design, implementation and execution of eCommerce and associated technologies on projects with our leading brands and teams.

- Determine and develop architectural approaches and solutions.

- Conduct business reviews, document current systems and develop recommendations based on your extensive experience and thought leadership.

- Drive success of ecommerce solutions globally, with an emphasis on North America through the External Partners, assuring quality of the solution and quality of delivery.

- Design solutions that meet business and functional requirements with the flexibility to scale and adapt as operating realities change.

- Oversee quality assurance reviews of assigned projects and the evaluation and documentation of best practices.

- Validate the integration in functional designs to ensure the overall business requirements are met and are consistent with Conceptual Design.

- Design and support the deployment of the eCommerce Global Template that drive standardization across the business units/regional markets.

- Streamline operations and establish a platform for business growth and flexibility.

- Work with Project Managers to outline the tasks and deliverables required to drive the full set of application requirements.

- Facilitate and troubleshoot problems associated with design and implementation of projects.

- Support the successful testing and quality assurance of solutions.

- Prepare and present clear and concise oral and written communications.

- Establish and maintain contacts with internal and external stakeholders, to provide information, garner acceptance and support of the project, and ensure that the project meets business needs.

People Management:

- Mentors and guides project and program teams through all project phases.

- Provide functional supervision over consultants and contractors, and supervise (dotted line) technical staff.

- Coordinate the selection of project staff; evaluate performance; and provide feedback to departmental managers regarding staff performance.

- Assess training needs of project team members; develop, coordinate, and conduct specialized training as required.

- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers, business providers, including many of the top creative agency, brands and technical delivery organizations.

Qualifications:

What You Need To Succeed:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline and equivalent work experience and training.

- 10+ years of experience in end-to-end WebSphere Commerce solutions.

- WebSphere Commerce v7+ implementation experience with all the frameworks (WCS, Java, J2EE, Webservices, XML, etc.)

- Proficiency in WebSphere Commerce v7+ administration

- Proficiency in translating business requirements into system requirements.

- Proficiency in establishing security, ecommerce performance, and standards/procedures.

- Be a self-starter in identifying, solving and pre-empting problems.

- Expertise in design, analysis and development leadership of eCommerce solution with WCS 7+.

- Work experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups.

- Be detail-oriented, with strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills.

- Resourcefulness in accomplishing objectives and completing tasks.

- Demonstrated strong verbal/written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex issues to multiple audiences.

- A positive, winning and abundance attitude.

- Ability to travel (approx. 5%).
