Role: Manager / Sr. Manager - Strategy & Planning
Position Description: To be part of Strategy & Operations team in providing strategy related services (growth / entry / diversification / customer / transformation) to clients in Consumer and Industrial Markets (primarily engineering, diversified industrial, consumer durable etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver program / projects as per defined timelines
- Drive team P&L by monitoring billing, fee collection, controlling project expenses etc.
- Develop and roll-out client centric/ industry centric solutions
- Develop thought leadership content in the Business Strategy & Planning space
- Mine existing clients for additional business opportunities
- Deepen key account relationships in the CIM sector
- Drive collaboration across teams in KPMG
- Ensure engagement levels within the team
- Drive Knowledge Management regarding Business Strategy & Planning within the team
- Mentor & develop young consultants
- Drive aggressive sales efforts in the Business Strategy & Planning space
Technical Skills Required:
- Business Plan / Business case preparation
- Market Assessment / Entry strategy / Go-to-Market strategy / Operations strategy
- Program & resource management
Experience / Skills Required:
- MBA from a top-tier business school
- 8-10+ years of experience with excellent understanding of corporate planning and strategy development and deployment
- Strategy consulting experience is a must
- Experience in working with - C- level executive clients
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong project planning and leadership
