Job Description:

Designation: Manager/Sr.Manager - QA/QC

Qualification: Graduate in Engineering

Location: Gurgaon

Exp: Minimum 18 years experience in Project Quality assurance. Should have at least 10 years in a managerial role, in Oil & Gas Industry, preferably relevant international experience.

Area of Responsibility:

- Compliance to QMS : To develop and enhance policies, QA plans & procedures

- Resources: Plan and organize appropriate resources for project QA implementation coordinating through the Project management

- QA Authority: To act as a QA Authority for an assigned project

- Implementation: Manage the construction, fabrication and commissioning QA activities through the dedicated team of personnel assigned for the individual projects

- Internal monitoring of QA team leaders: To monitor and review activities of Project and Operation’s QA team leaders to verify that they are complying with their own individual Quality Management Systems applicable to their contracted scopes of work/supply

- Internal QA Audits: To conduct QA Audits as per the Corporate QA Audit Plan and review the internal audit program of projects utilising qualified personnel independent of the area being audited to determine the effective application of the quality management system.

- Technical integrity management: To provide and ensure QMS being followed through Technical Integrity during the design, fabrication / construction, installation, commissioning of project developments and existing operations.

- Training: To identify, arrange, and conduct relevant QA and QC training for all Cairn India personnel and ensure all personnel understand and effectively deliver their QA and QC responsibilities as per Quality Plan and Procedures. To ensure that the QA personnel under control are adequately trained, qualified, experienced to perform the activities assigned to them and have access to the procedures describing the quality management system

- Continual Improvement: To promote and ensure feedback of project/operations experience together with input from new technology, plus feedback from audits, are used to ensure continuous improvement of the quality management system

- Documentation: Manage all documents, record and systems critical to the maintenance of the assigned project/ field’s technical integrity.
