Key Accountabilities:

PLANNING:
- Plan the production and ensure all the materials are ready for despatch as per customer required dates
- Plan NFG requirements for the planned production to ensure we maintain good turnaround ratio and no stockout
- Ensure proper storage, retrival of FG goods/RM/Trading items and ensuring zero stock variance.
PRODUCTION:
- Look for opportunities to reduce Energy usage, Small automations, material movement and waste reduction
- Ensure the production of fibers, modules and paper as per budgetted efficiencies
- Ensure the consumable usage is better than the budgetted consumption level
- Ensuring Zero product related complaints from customer and Zero non compliance reporting in ISO 9001 audits
- Drive the productivity improvement projects
- Initiate &Drive the cost reduction projects
TEAM DEVELOPMENT:
- Skill identification, Gap analysis, Training needs and development of Supervisors and Non Management team in coordination with HR
- Ensuring the supervisor and NMS team participate in Suggestion Scheme in good vigour and also in other TEI activities
- Guide the team in problem solving through SGA, QC and Kaizen
MODERN MANGEMENT CONCEPTS:
- Implementation of 3 S standards in the Plants
- Implementation of Kanban system for NFG materials except for RM
- Implementation of required TPM concepts like OEE, AM in the Spun and Paper line
- Implementation of Single piece flow in module lines
- Drive the 5S implementation in the plant
LEGAL COMPLIANCE AND EHS:
- Development of the team with respect to ISO 14001/ OHSAS 18001 requirements
- Ensuring proper accounting of waste generation and disposal/usage of waste.
- Ensuring legal compliance with respect to water management and in waster generation
