Manager/Sr Manager - Predictive Modelling - Insurance - IIT/DSE/ISI

As their business in India is expanding, and are looking for predictive modelers to join their growing business as a Manager or a Senior Manager.

Job Description

Reporting to the VP - Analytics, you will be responsible for:

- Building predictive models in the Insurance domain using Linear regression, GLM, GENMOD

- Identifying new areas to apply predictive modeling and advanced analytics in the Re-Insurance business

- Working closely with Actuarial and pricing entities of the business

- Applying predictive modeling to underwriting/pricing processes

- Partnering with IT/Tech support to implement models for Advance analytics within the organization

The Successful Applicant

- 7+ years experience in building predictive models for an Insurance/ banking institution.

- Advanced degree (master's or above) in a quantitative subject, such as Mathematics, Operations Research,
Statistics, Economics or Finance from ISI/IIT/IGIDR/MSE/DSE.

- Excellent exposure of developing models in the Property and Casualty (P&C) domain is mandatory

- Must have in-depth knowledge of Predictive Modeling, Segmentation, classification/decision tree, Regression (Logistic, Linear) sequencing/association tools

- Comprehensive knowledgeable about underwriting/ pricing process

- Excellent communication/presentation skills
