Manager/Sr.Manager – Finance & Accounting- CA

Job Objective:

- To manage the overall company’s Accounting & Finance Function, producing regular MIS Reports and enable the management to better manage the overall business

Qualification: CA/ICWA

Major role and responsibilities:

1. To ensure the integrity of the company’s ledgers and associated systems.

2. To produce monthly/quarterly/ half yearly financial statements, MIS reports and statutory accounts.

3. To oversee tax filing and compliance processes, viz. – Income Tax, VAT/CST, Excise, Service Tax etc.

4. To ensure maintenance of all statutory records and related compliances related to finance & accounts function.

5. To assist in the production and development of the company’s business plan and budget.

6. To manage the overall accounting department staff located at Head Office, factories and any other location of the company.

7. To identify the training needs within the finance & accounting department and make suitable recommendations for action.

8. To seek improvements in Finance & Accounting Control systems and information systems (whether manual or ERP Package).

9. To identify and evaluate areas of improvements in Finance and Accounting function with regard to process, system and methodology.

10. To develop a culture of empowerment throughout the team ensuring that all employees take responsibility for the ongoing success of the company.

11. Any other job as assigned by the management.

Working relations:

Internal – Functional heads, Location heads, and other Managers

External – Auditors, Bankers, Government Departments and Consultants.

Authority:

1. Allocation of resources

2. Approved Payments and Collection

Essential Knowledge area: Indian GAAP, IFRS, Taxation – Direct/Indirect, ERP Package
