ROLE SUMMARY - This is a middle management position responsible for completely owing and driving business analytics for one of our three service lines - Accounts Receivables Management. This role requires a strong focus on timely analyses of current processes, identifying gaps/inefficiencies, providing data-driven solutions to reduce time taken to collect and maximize cash flows for our clients, and effective implementation of these solutions on processes outsourced to company
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Study, plan and execute the overall analytics strategy for the identified service line
- Immerse himself/herself in understanding Accounts Receivables management operations to ensure the analytical solutions are realistic, are executed well and measured effectively
- Actively collaborate with the operations head, vertical leaders, team leaders and finance leader to identify key metrics and benchmarks for monitoring, measuring and analyzing data within that department
- Use appropriate statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analyses to create “delivery strategy and optimize service delivery” and business operations in the Accounts Receivables function
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Derive insights from analyses, and use the analyses to identify opportunities to improve current processes, develop solutions and execute them under tight timelines
- Prioritize based on impact and discuss/escalate areas that need immediate attention to the Executive Vice President, Operations heads and Finance head - Establish standards and templates for high impact internal reports and client dashboards that enables constant monitoring and effective analysis
- Drive actionable insights, solutions and proof of concept with stakeholders
- Lead conversations with operations leaders, clients and other stakeholders within the company to showcase the analyses, expected outcomes, timelines and milestones
- Actively participate in client calls/meetings and internal operations meetings to brainstorm, collaborate, provide direction and support with relevant analytics and solutions
- Demonstrate proof of concept by quantifying the impact of solutions with appropriate case studies, pilot studies etc
- Work seamlessly with the operations leaders to ensure execution of agreed operations strategy
- Build, manage and develop a team of business analysts
- Hire and develop a world-class team of analysts to focus across all clients within that function and to build scale
- Oversee their performance and development through constant reviews, regular coaching and immediate feedback
- Support the Executive Vice President by putting processes in place within that function, to create a Center of Excellence (CoE) for Business Analytics that significantly impacts the revenue collected for our clients, removes process bottlenecks and makes our internal processes highly efficient
- Eventually create high end analytics solutions (2-2.5 years) can be offered as a high end service line by the company to the healthcare provider market
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
- CA/MBA's with a flair for analytics (or) Business Analytics qualified candidates who are passionate about revenue cycle management for CFOs of large hospitals and physician groups
- 8+ years of experience with predominant experience in a business analytics role
- ‘Demonstrated excellence’ in problem solving and executing solutions
- Good interpersonal skills and highly collaborative working style
- Proficient in business intelligence tools and MS-Excel; statistical knowledge is highly preferred
- Moderate knowledge of PowerPoint
- Should have predominantly worked in companies servicing US clients
- Prior exposure to the US healthcare industry will be highly valued
