Job Description:

- To meet & exceed all service & process related parameters as laid down by the Bank.

- To efficiently monitor the key responsibilities assigned to the Teller & Branch Service Partners desks.

- To diligently ensure implementation of all internal & external guidelines/process notes for the Teller functions & branch operations.

- To play the role of a guide & mentor to reporting personnel with respect to Sales / Service & Operational efficiencies.

- To meet & attempt to exceed the branch’s business targets with relation to X-Sell of various Bank, NBD & 3rd party products

CHARATERISTICS & COMPETENCIES

Personal Characteristics & traits

- Excellent communication skills in English & the local language.

- Should be well versed on financial services market/awareness of current affairs at least in the financial sector.

- Must possess good ‘managerial’ skills to be able to effectively foresee the activities of the Teller & CSE functions.

- Must be friendly, creative, optimistic by nature & possess a positive attitude.(helps in building a bond with clients & managing under pressure)

- Well groomed with a overall pleasing personality

- Must be a quick learner and possess the ability to train personnel & monitor performance.

- Must enjoy meeting & servicing a varied lot of customers.

- Must have a positive inclination towards sales & treat it as a challenge.

- Must be able to network effectively both within (with other divisions)& outside the Bank (with clients)

Technical Competencies

- Basic knowledge on all aspects of ‘Basic Banking’

- Thorough knowledge of Teller, vault, LCY & FCY remittances.

- Product knowledge of Bank, 3rd party and NBD products.

- Good exposure and knowledge in Clearing (Inward/Outward).

- Good understanding & knowledge of the customer behaviour & their expectations.

- Must possess the ability for to motivate self and the whole team.

- Suitable knowledge of products n services offered by competitive Bank branches, at least in the immediate vicinity.
