Operational Responsibilities:
- Liaison with project team to provide required cost estimation services for project needs
- Coordinate with Project Managers and ensure cost estimation deliverables are completed on time as per schedule
- Ensure adherence to corporate guidelines and standards in the process
- Identify the resources (people, material, tools and equipments) needed for the execution of the project
- Coordinate the participation of key stakeholders in risk management meetings
- Coordinate functional and discipline leads to ensure timely reviews of information

Job Requirements:
Must Have:
Professional Experience:
- 8-12 years of professional experience in Project Management of cost estimation in mining industry
- Hands-on experience on Engineering-procurement-construction management (EPC / EPCM)
College/University Education:
- University degree or experience to be substituted
Other Qualifications:
- Advanced understanding of cost estimating activities
- Relevant industry experience with exposure to a Capital Projects environment
- Effective communication and stakeholder relationship management
- Decision-making and negotiation ability
- Demonstrated leadership and issue-based problem solving
- Familiarity with cost estimating principles and policies is highly desirable
Other:
- Australian cultural awareness : The ability to interact in English and international exposure to mining clients and/or international business norms are considered important pre-requisites.
