Job Description:
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sponsorship Sales Manager to join our team.
- This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing sponsorship deals for our media properties.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the media industry, a passion for sales, and a proven track record of success.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and cultivate potential sponsorship opportunities across various industries.
- Research and analyze target companies to understand their business objectives and identify potential sponsorship partnerships.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new clients and retain existing ones.
Sales Process:
- Develop compelling sales proposals that highlight the value proposition of our media properties.
- Conduct effective sales presentations to key decision-makers.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring optimal revenue generation.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract execution.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Proactively address client needs and concerns, providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, production, etc) to ensure seamless execution of sponsorship activations.
Market Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging sponsorship opportunities.
- Analyze market data to identify potential growth areas and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in media sales, sponsorship sales, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the media industry, including digital, print, and broadcast.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales tools.
