Sourcing Manager - Transport

Objective : Frame and implement the regional Logistics Sourcing strategy in line with Organization and SCM Practice. Ensure availability of the needed sourcing agreements and rates for the respective Region either for general cargo or for heavy lift.

Main Accountabilities :

- Set, implement and execute the regional TT&L strategy for Sourcing and Supply Base Management

- Monitor performance with global KPIs and drive corrective actions where needed

- Manage and develop strategies, implement targets and standards/processes for the business in order to improve cost and maximize spend value

- Drive implementation of sourcing processes for General Cargo and Heavy Lift and continuously benchmark the performance.

- Drive special projects in the region in accordance with global TT&L Strategy

- Lead and provide sourcing training to ensure the on-going development of PL competencies and skills

- Ensure all employees for Sourcing and Demand Management are well trained and have a long-term perspective. Motivate the team and communicates on regular basis with all team members

- Support on escalations for Sourcing issues to business during execution phase of the transports
