Electrical Commodity Manager (Sourcing) - Pune

- 10+ Years experience in supply chain / material management.

- BE electrical / electronics

- MBA in material management is preferred

- Acumen in Material Management technique is must to improve the business performance in terms of cost, lead time & quality as well as inventory.

- Should have the technical understanding to understand the business requirements & should be able to contribute in optimizing

- Experience in finalizing the suppliers and negotiating contacts with them specifically for items like Battery, Servo Stabilizer, Distribution Panel, wound components is must.

- Should have the knowledge & network of relevant vendor base in India & around Pune.

- Should Contribute to align India strategy with global and regional commodity across Industrial Systems Business Units.

- Support high value customer projects with competitive sourcing

- Need to work out yearly commodity wise cost reduction in line with business requirement & plan.

- Should have the knowledge in commodity indices and use them effectively while negotiating with suppliers to create lowest cost supplier base.

- Participate in regular reviews to understand the monthly / quarterly requirements and coordinate with suppliers accordingly.

- Organize regular reviews with suppliers, ensure compliance with contractually agreed elements (quality monitoring and audit, compliance with deadlines, etc.) and ensure that project changes are taken into account

- Supplier Grading needs to be done based on the cost, quality & performance, this needs to be discussed with supplier every quarter and workout improvement plan.

- Should have good communication skills & presentation skills.
