Responsibility :
- Lead our next phase of development into a world-class, high-performing, manufacturing organization with a strong focus on material sourcing, inventory management, and logistics.
- Work cross functionally to plan, develop, and execute company goals, objectives, and compliance measures.
- Source and develop your team to drive a caring and high-performing culture.
- Establish and build strong supplier partnerships and networks that ensure innovation and sustainable positive material cost development.
- Build a robust material management and planning process that is linked with our production model.
- Ensure transparent monitoring and control of inventory across the whole organization to drive profitability and ensuring product availability.
- Continuously assess and reduce our supply risks in a profitable manner.
- Continuously improve processes relevant to the function while ensuring compliance.
Functional Expertise :
- Skilled at inventory, material management, logistics, and supplier development best practices.
- Experience with the financial impact of inventory flows, and managing the conflict between inventory and product availability.
- Highly skilled at modelling large volumes of data, drawing structured conclusions, and visualizing results in Excel or professional data visualization software.
- Experienced with statistical modelling techniques and tools.
- Should be curious to learn new businesses, new customers, and to understand the customer needs as they change short- and long-term.
- Should be familiar with the key productivity & financial drives of a manufacturing unit and are able to get into the details while keeping an eye on the big picture.
- Should be able to show and coach team members how to integrate KPI-s into the - big picture.
- Should be a SAP expert and process expert or a data modelling expert.
Non-Negotiable Criteria :
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience working in operations and leading teams
- Minimum B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, Operations, or related engineering; MBA is extremely desirable, ideally in Operations
- Demonstrate leadership skills to work as a team leader, and a strong process orientation
- Strong project management and coaching skills
- Experienced in & exposure to world-class-manufacturing methods
- A Ph.D in Operations would be considered if the candidate has the required mindset, basic analytical skills, and some industry experience.
