Job Description:
- We are seeking a seasoned and results-oriented SQA Manager to lead our Software Quality Assurance (SQA) efforts and drive the delivery of high-quality products across our entire portfolio.
- In this strategic role, you will be responsible for unifying SQA practices, capabilities, and personnel across our global locations.
- You will work closely with senior leadership, product managers, project managers, and delivery teams to ensure seamless product launches and consistent achievement of product goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire SQA lifecycle for our global product portfolio, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality releases to clients.
- Continuously refine SQA operations to achieve rapid turnaround times.
- This includes optimizing test strategies, use cases, test cases, testing phases, automation practices, and leveraging our global testing capabilities.
- Champion the selection and implementation of cutting-edge SQA technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build, supervise, and lead a unified global SQA team, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across locations.
- Establish and automate a robust metrics collection and reporting system to track quality, performance, impact, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision making.
- Manage the cost, schedule, and performance of the SQA team, ensuring optimal resource allocation and project delivery within budget.
- Partner with the Sr.VP of Products, Design & Technology to define the technical vision and roadmap for achieving exceptional product quality.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA), with a proven track record of leading SQA teams and defining and executing successful SQA strategies. graduation or postgraduation in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, or a related field (preferred).
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing best practices of QA techniques, including test case creation, testing methodologies, and defect management processes.
- Proficiency in using automated testing tools like Selenium or Appium to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficiency.
- Experience in developing strategic plans for SQA processes and evaluating their effectiveness for continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
- Direct experience of SQA for Web, SaaS, Cloud, and on-premise implementations.
- Proven experience delivering in an Agile environment with CI/CD pipelines and iterative/periodic release schedules.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a global SQA team (mention remote work possibility if applicable).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical capabilities and a keen eye for detail, with experience analyzing and documenting complex business requirements and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
- Effective time management, task planning, and prioritization skills
