Skill Competency Manager (BIG 4 / Consulting Experience)
Job Responsibilities :
Skill Architecture Development :
- Design and implement a robust skill architecture framework tailored to the consulting industry.
- Collaborate with HR and senior leadership to identify key skills and competencies required for various roles within the firm.
Skills Assessment :- Create and administer skills assessment assignments to evaluate current skill levels of members.
- Develop tools and methods for ongoing skills assessment and gap analysis.
Role-Skill Mapping :- Map each role within the firm to the required skills and competencies.
- Ensure clear and transparent criteria for performance evaluation based on skills.
Technology-Enhanced Learning :- Leverage advanced technologies such as AI, VR, and data analytics to create immersive and interactive learning experiences.
- Implement a state-of-the-art Learning Management System (LMS) to facilitate and track employee development.
Performance Evaluation :- Collaborate with HR and leadership to develop a performance evaluation model focusing on skill proficiency.
- Train managers and team leaders on how to use the new performance evaluation tools effectively.
Learning and Development Programs :- Design and deliver training programs to address identified skill gaps.
- Partner with external training providers when necessary to enhance skill development.
Continuous Improvement :- Monitor the effectiveness of skill architecture and assessment programs.
- Collect and analyze data to continually refine and improve the skill development process.
Experience & Education :
- 6-10 years- experience in creating Skill Architecture Framework.
- Experience in Business Consulting Firms, Big 4, Law Firms, HR Consulting Firms.
- Experience in creating Frameworks for Skills Assessment and Gap Analysis.
- Significant experience in mapping Roles with Skills and Competencies.
- Working knowledge of creating Performance Evaluation Models focusing on Skill Proficiency.
- Excellent communication / interpersonal skills.
- Good ability to build relations with stakeholders.
- A Masters Degree in Humanities, Business or Psychology.
