Role
1. Solution Development & Evolution
- Play an active role in developing standard, replicable SEO solutions in partnership with the SEO Subject Matter Experts/ Solution Architects & Strategists
- Gather inputs from projects and client interactions to enable continuous evolution of the SEO framework, templates, processes and solution documents
- Identify and onboard potential partnerships (tools and services) to enable efficient and quality delivery of SEO projects
- Enable deployment of technical expertise on client projects
2. Capability Research
- Enable research in the organic search space in a planned, structured and proactive manner to keep the function abreast with latest developments in the digital space that impact SEO
- Lead and create - Points of View- (POVs) and other thought leadership articles on different subject areas within SEO and any changes in the SEO ecosystem in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts/ Solution Architects/Strategists
- Represent the SEO expertise of the organisation in external and internal forums as and when the opportunity arises
Operational
3. Quality and Expertise
- Own overall quality of SEO solution delivery on client projects
- Guide implementation and use of SEO framework, tools, processes and templates on client project delivery
- Gather inputs from projects and client interactions to enable continuous evolution of the SEO framework, templates, processes and solution documents
- Drive the creation of a work review and expertise layer in India by working closely with SEO subject matter experts/strategists
4. Knowledge Management
- Lay out the entire platform and process for structured management of knowledge of the SEO practice including decks, dashboards, templates, processes, frameworks, etc.
- Actively drive documentation and storage of knowledge by working closely with knowledge group leaders
- Ensure conduct of knowledge sharing sessions from time to time in a planned and agenda driven manner to encourage cross-project learning
5. People
- Create and drive the implementation of the capability development plan for SEO
- Contribute to overall capability development of the function by enabling formal and informal training sessions
Key Performance Indicators
Candidate
1. Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or Communications from Tier 1 institution
2. Bachelor's in quantitative disciplines will be a plus
3. Bachelors/Masters in Communications and English language will be a plus
4. 5+ years of recent experience in SEO and digital marketing
5. Experience of leading and managing SEO teams will be preferred
6. At least 3 years of experience in solution research and development, preferably in the area of SEO and digital marketing and transformation
7. Prior experience of writing thought leadership articles will be a big plus
8. Prior experience of working in research focused, solution architect and knowledge manager roles will be a plus
9. Experience of working in client servicing roles delivering SEO programs will be a big plus
10. Experience of working with global clients will be a preference
