Manager/Senior Manager - Vendor Development - Auto Ancillary Industry

Note - It is six days working organization.

- Identifying and developing potential vendors / suppliers for achieving cost effective purchases of materials; achieving reduction in final procurement cost

- Developing alternate vendor base to achieve cost reduction, increase revenues, streamline process workflow and to create a environment to enhance productive innovation for vendor's parts / BOP

- Organizing review meetings with suppliers to improve on delivery, quality and entire supply chain process

- Configuring various document types, number ranges, field selections for Purchase Requisitions (PR), Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Purchase Orders (PO)

- Ensure cost Reduction through Alternate Sourcing, Process Change and Cost Negotiation.

- Support Supplier onboarding process from Identification, Qualification, Audits, Assessments, and Contracting to Process validation.

- Supplier visits to ensure process adherence as per the Quality expectations

- Bridge the gap between Finance and engineering teams to realize the should-cost and take action

- Support Supplier evaluation matrix document basis Product cost, quality, capacity planning, delivery, part support for years in service, and payment terms.

- Communication with Supplier for non-conformance of parts and take necessary actions till SOP.
