Job Title : Manager / Sr Manager
Relevant Experience (Yrs) : Graduate/PG with 13-15 years of experience in underwriting, CD review, Post close quality control Underwriting.
Technical/Functional Skills :
- Excellent Mortgage knowledge, knowledge, and experience of property /Mortgage requirements of FNMA & FHLMC.
- Proven organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Strong analytical and communication skills - verbal and written. Good Knowledge of MS Office.
- Customer focused and Excellent Team Player/Strong Interpersonal skills
- Provide prompt, courteous and excellent service at an acceptable cost to all customers and operate in accordance with the company's Statement of Business Practices, Affirmative Action Diversity and other standards.
- Perform credit and property analysis on conventional loan files submitted within the time frame established by departmental management.
- Provides exemplary customer service to both internal staff and external customer by explaining credit decision and offering alternative options when needed.
- Maintain quality and production standards as defined by business. Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
- Good in reporting to top management
- Experience Required - 13- 15 years' experience in Mortgage (either underwriting, CD review, Post close quality control Underwriting).
- Experience with and knowledge of property and credit underwriting requirements of FNMA, FHLMC, and private mortgage insurance companies and over all 10 years of experience in Mortgages
- Experience handling teams of 100-300 people
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Maintain monthly performance measurements: Timeliness, production goals, compliance/regulatory, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining service level standards, assisting in new-hire trainings, perform internal Quality check, providing floor support and feedback to other staff
- Maintaining Good relationship both upstream and downstream
- Escalation points for all client issues
- Manage Financials for the processes/unit reporting to him.
- Keep motivation levels high for all TL's and Mangers reporting into him
- Generic Managerial Skills : Good analytical, problem solving, organizational and communication skills needed.
- Maintaining service level standards, assisting in new-hire trainings, Perform internal Quality check, providing floor support and feedback to other staff.
- Ability to effectively make decisions in an independent manner and availability as a resource advisor for all staff.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Education : Graduate, MBA is a preferred / Knowledge of quality tools is must.
