Position Title: Manager/Sr. Manager - Training

JOB PURPOSE :

Design, plan and execute programs for learning and development of associates across the organization that are aligned to business, functional and competency based objectives

Key Responsibility Areas :

Training and Development :

- Plan programs in Corporate and Stores to implement key aspects of the Talent Development strategy of the organization

- Design the approach of specific programs that help meet specific learning objectives for target group of employees

- Execute approved initiatives by defining content and delivering the training and working with third parties in some or all cases

- Build strong relationships with key functional stakeholders across the organization to ensure that L&D solutions are effectively integrated into functional plans and processes.

- Support the team in creating the tools and technologies to make L&D offerings more relevant for business

Special Leaning Projects - Leadership Development

- Conceptualize ideas on how to drive learning and development across focus group of associates in WISC and Stores

- Take ideas from design to execution by conceptualizing, planning, executing and driving its project management

- Identify and build relationships with service providers who can help us execute some of the learning interventions.

- Identify new and best practices in learning and development from the industry and work on executing suitable ones in the organization

- Delivery of leadership modules in stores and Corporate

- Building Customer Centricity Culture and Delivery of training for the same

- Delivery of Sales Training skills to impact top line growth

Travel across - 70% of time commitment

KEY DECISIONS :

1. Scheduling of learning programs

2. Identification of right audience for the programs

INTERNAL (Roles or teams you need to interact with internally in the organization on a day to day basis) :

- Senior leaders of the organization

- People Team

- Operations and Merchandizing team

- Sales and Business Development team

EXTERNAL (Roles you need to interact with outside the organization on a day to day basis) -

- Training providers

- Peers in the industry

- 4500 associates in the organization with focus on 400 associates in ISC

- Graduate/ Post Graduate Diploma Equivalent - Desirable

- Certified Facilitator on Leadership Modules - Essential
