Responsibilities :
- The Tax Senior is responsible for reviewing trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns, preparing complex tax returns; and assisting in reporting and MIS activities.
- Support Service implementations from start to finish (planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects).
- Supervise and train staff and New Joiners on tax projects.
- Conduct Quality Reviews of returns prepared by staff.
- Proactively interact with key client engagement team to gather information and resolve tax-related problems
- Gain an understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives.
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary.
Experience Qualifications:
- Minimum graduate/PostGraduate from reputable universities with an excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3-18 years of professional experience, preferably in Tier 1 or Tier 2 public accounting firm.
- Enrolled Agent Certification Required.
- Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).
- Understanding of Federal taxes.
- Broad exposure to federal income taxation and knowledge of tax regulations.
- Ability to perform FAS 109 tax provisions.
