Manager / Sr Manager SCM Market Place
Looking for smart Supply Chain Professionals who have handled Demand Planning & SCM operations for a leading brand (MBA grads 2017-2020 from NTIE/ IIMs/ IITs/ SP Jain/ SCM HRD etc
Should come with Market Place Model experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize in-stock percentages, minimize out-of-stock situations, and prevent overstocking.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product management and account management, to gather insights on market demand, product launches, and promotions that may impact stock requirements.
- Utilize forecasting tools and methodologies to project future demand accurately.
- Work closely with the production team to plan and schedule manufacturing activities based on demand forecasts and stock requirements.
- Communicate production schedules and stock requirements to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
- Identify potential production constraints or bottlenecks and develop strategies to overcome them.
- Plan and execute the distribution of stock to own /Third Party warehouses, ensuring optimal regional utilization.
- Implement effective inventory management practices to maintain optimal levels of stock.
- Monitor stock levels at both warehouses and in transit, taking proactive measures to address stockouts or excess inventory.
- Develop and execute a seamless returns management strategy across marketplace platforms (e.g., Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra).
- Collaborate with the customer support team to understand reasons for returns and implement strategies to reduce return rates.
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and IT, to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
Requirements:
- MBA in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field with 4-6 years of experience in SCM.
- Proven experience in supply chain planning and operations within the e-commerce or retail industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra) and their operational dynamics.
