Manager/Senior Manager - Strategy & Market Analysis - Mining

Position: Sr. Manager Strategy & market analysis

Location: Jamshedpur

Requirements:

Qualification: MBA in any discipline (Strategy & Planning will be preferred)

Experience : 5 to 10 Years

Desirable - Any relevant functions involving analysis / development of plans

Eligibility - Only Females

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

Long term strategic planning for raw materials including plans for a steel company to participate in various processes in order to acquire mineral assets / linkages including auctions.

Key Objective / Overall Job Responsibility:

1. Assist GM RMSG to develop Immediate and long term strategic plans for Raw Material area for a steel company.

2. Track developments related to mineral auctions, biddings, regional issues, socio political developments through media and other sources. Regular Interaction with government agencies like director of mining & geology, state land department etc.

3. Track competitor actions and developments

4. Provide input on probable areas for acquisition and operating strategy for potential new coal/mineral blocks

5. Track regulatory and other environmental changes and identify business opportunities related to mineral rules (eg. NMET)

6. Track and evaluate collaboration / partnership opportunities for a Steel company in RM area
