We are seeking a dedicated Statutory Reporting Specialist with expertise in UK GAAP standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing statutory reporting duties in adherence to UK GAAP guidelines. This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely statutory reporting for the organization.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Execute statutory reporting tasks in compliance with UK GAAP standards.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data and information for statutory reporting.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

- Review and interpret financial data to identify any discrepancies or issues.

- Stay updated with changes in UK GAAP regulations and implement necessary adjustments in reporting practices.

- Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process and address any audit queries.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or equivalent is mandatory.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

- Extensive experience in statutory reporting, particularly in the context of UK GAAP.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards, especially related to UK GAAP.

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.

- Additional Requirements:

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures related to statutory reporting.

- Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.

- Familiarity with audit processes and procedures.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
