Manager/Senior Manager/Specialist - Procurement/Packaging - Retail/QSR

We are looking out for a Manager/SR Manager - Procurement [Packaging Specialist] with Top Retail/QSR Brand

Location - Mumbai Andheri East

Key responsibilities/ accountabilities:

A) Packaging Development & Sourcing :

- Developing stable, aesthetically valued, cost-effective, and user-friendly packaging material in compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Handling the entire process of Packaging material development from the stage of conceptualization to implementation

- Coordinating with NPD and marketing team for new packaging requirements for new launches and accordingly develops the packaging from Conceptualization to mock trial at stores to negotiation to capacity planning to final launch.

- Initiate and drive continuous improvements process of dine-in and delivery packaging in coordination with the Business standard team.

- Evaluating, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers, leading regional supplier development.

- Lead & execute cost reduction initiative for existing & new packaging through specs optimization or through alternative replacement in coordination with BS & NPD team.

- Capacity planning of all products to meet the requirements in line with the organization's growth plan.

- Overview and monitor vendor performance, OTIF, Fill rate in coordination with the planning Team.

- Develop & Implement SOP for Packaging Development.

- Effectively install cost monitoring mechanism to trace and track the price of commodities which directly or indirectly affect the cost of packaging..

B) Food Category Sourcing

- Drive the sourcing strategy for the categories assigned for Dairy, Seasonings, condiments.

- Overview and monitor vendor performance, OTIF, Fill rate in coordination with the planning Team.

- Lead & execute cost reduction initiatives through negotiation or alternate vendor development in coordination with the Product commercialization team.

- Capacity planning of all products to meet the requirements in line with the organization's growth plan.

Functional/ Technical competencies:

- Should have working experience in the areas of Packaging procurement in retail, FMCG, or Pharma

- Negotiation skills, Issues resolutions at Chief supply chain officer level, Market understanding, Managing Vendor and supplier

- Must have technical and specification knowledge of Paper & Packaging

- Good in analytics.

- Proficient with MS Excel & PowerPoint.
