We have a job opening with one of our client i.e. Big 4 for the position of Manager & Senior Manager - Security Management to be based out in Bangalore.

Manager - 10-15 yrs

Sr. Manager - 15 yrs+

Daily responsibilities includes:

- Implement Security policies as laid down in the GDS security policy

- Operational Security

- Fire, Health and Safety

- Security Risk Assessments & Management

- Technical Security Systems management

- Corporate investigations

- External Security Audits/Reviews

- Transport and Travel Security

- Incident Management

- Vendor Compliance

- MIS and Dash boarding for the security team

- Liaison and relationship management (internal / external)

- Support Business Continuity Program

- Liaison with GDS Global Security Team and with the other Key Stake holders.

- Compile weekly summary highlighting all safety & security related incidents or issues and share report with GDS security team, Hold periodic meetings with the centre lead to discuss local projects, planned moves or changes and any building issues. Hold monthly meeting with GDS security team to share updates and discuss policies and implementation.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Supervises, coaches and develops the security staff/team.

- Provides leadership to the first responders and counsel senior colleagues during the initial stages of a security/safety-related crisis or potentially significant incidents.

- Assesses the criticality and impact of incidents, works closely with other stakeholders and takes action to mitigate business impact.

- Effectively communicates and escalates emergency situations to the proper stakeholders and BCP team and provides timely resolution of life-safety or security emergencies.

- Collaborates with various business units and BCP to understand the formulated risk & vulnerability mitigation strategies and performs related follow-up & reporting activities.

- Establishes and/or implements policies, controls, processes and develops measurement tools to track the deliveries.

- Lead or assist in investigation of crimes, thefts and employee misconduct.

- Performs data analysis to identify trends, risks and formulates corrective action plans.

- Conducts preliminary Cost-Benefit analyses and assists the Site Manager with strategic planning for programs, budgets, goals and objectives.

- Manages, design and implements access control and protection systems for new projects in partnership with the Technical Security Infrastructure team.

- Establishes and maintains relationships with various business unit, service providers, public safety & government personnel's and industry peers.

- Identifies security awareness requirements, gaps and recommends controls for mitigation. Prepares detailed written reports, analyses data and draws conclusions that can be translated into solutions for customer and departmental problems.

- Plan & conduct trainings such as new hire Induction, Floor Warden & Women Safety.

- Liaise with security vendors/supervisors on day to day basis to discuss security standards. Develop a network contacts with local law enforcement agencies.

- Carry out training for Emergency Response Team/Conduct periodic Drills

- Security asset management

- Organisational asset protection
